National Distracted Driving Telephone Survey
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is conducting a national telephone survey on driving habits and attitudes related to distracted driving. We will randomly select a small number of participants nationwide. Because it is random, you cannot volunteer to participate.

Your valuable input will help enhance traffic safety and save lives nationwide. No personal information is collected that will allow anyone to identify you. If you’ve received a voice mail message asking you to participate, please call 1-888-772-4269 between the hours of 10 am and 10 pm (EST) to schedule your session.

We are seeking your perceptions on issues such as:
- Frequency of distracted driving and texting or emailing while driving
- Danger of distracted behavior in vehicles
- Awareness and enforcement of distracted driving laws
- Responses to other distracted drivers
